Good wives & daughters are willing to lie

 It might sound terrible to admit that I've been lying to the Captain for weeks, but I have, and I'd do it again.  Alison and a few of the Vielees were in on the deception to surprise him for Father's Day by sneaking Alison home from Lafayette where she is doing a summer internship and taking a class. We'd seen quite a lot of her, actually, as there have been reasons to run up to get her things, so he wasn't expecting to see her. I'd told him she would at least call him and that maybe I would go down to Columbus with him and he could shop at the outlet mall for work clothes and we could stop at 450 North Brewing. He and the rest of his colleagues have to go back to the office to work, and he needs clothes.
